1. Acceptance of Terms

CoParent is operated by Unchained Commerce GmbH, registered in Switzerland (unchained.ch). By accessing or using the CoParent platform (“Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

CoParent provides a collaborative platform for co-parents to manage custody schedules, share expenses, communicate about their children, and store important family documents. The Service is designed to facilitate cooperative parenting and is not a substitute for legal advice or mediation services.

3. User Accounts

You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

4. User Content

You retain ownership of all content you upload or create through the Service, including messages, documents, and calendar entries. By using the Service, you grant CoParent a limited license to store, process, and display your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you and your designated co-parent.

5. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your personal information. Please review the Privacy Policy carefully.

6. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, features, and underlying technology, is owned by CoParent and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse engineer any part of the Service without our prior written consent.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CoParent shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you have paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

8. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms of Service at any time. We will notify you of material changes via email or through the Service. Your continued use of the Service after such notification constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
